Ordinance Violation Apprehending System
The Municipality of Paete, Laguna is implementing OVAS to promote discipline, safety, and order on our roads. This system ensures that traffic laws, ordinances, and regulations are enforced fairly and consistently throughout the municipality.

The OVAS covers all major, secondary, and inner roads within Paete. It is designed to streamline traffic enforcement, improve compliance, and enhance road safety for both motorists and pedestrians in our community.

Apprehension Program
A Notice of Violation (NOV) will be issued to the registered owner of the
vehicle involved in the violation of traffic laws, rules and regulations based on footages
captured or recorded by CCTV, traffic enforcement cameras, or other technological devices upon
the review of the designated traffic personnel.
The NOV will be mailed to the registered
vehicle owner at his/her address appearing in the LTO Land Transportation Management System
(LTMS) through personal service, registered or ordinary mail, or other available modes of
service.

Apprehension
Uniform Ordinance Violation Receipt (UOVR) specific and distinctive serial
numbers. Physical apprehension will eventually use a handheld device, which can be used to
validate and authenticate driver’s or vehicle’s information online and print citation tickets,
among others.
Only authorized or deputized traffic personnel are allowed to physical
apprehend and issue UOVRs to motorist. Driver’s license will not be confiscated unless:
